so my wish has come true and i've truly made myself ultra busy with a lot a lot on my schedule.

as you all know, my customary wedding is coming soon, on the 19th november. there's a lot that have yet to be done. >.< mostly because i have a itchy backside and went full blown bridezilla, and chose ala-carte style; individual photographers, videographers, bridal gowns, invitations, wedding favours (not yet done), montage (not yet done), flowers (not yet done), bridal car (not yet done) etc etc. to top it off, we have engaged a band. i'm a pretty good organizer when it comes to events, mainly because i can always see things coming together. but right now, i'm so lost! there's no more one step at a time because there's just only a month to spare!!! -__________-"

and then there's my nail salon. traffic's been ok, i suppose, and i'm so grateful for my gracious and accomodating customers. it's a bit inconvenient now cos i've yet to move back to springleaf where i will have a dedicated nail room all to myself. complete with entertainment and what nots!

AND THEN!!! because i truly have an itchy backside, i was persuaded to join my school trip to hong kong to join a nail competition. i mean, to be competing with nailists who have been in the industry for years, and i'm just a new bird, newly graduated.... that kinda stress. it's worse than the last minute wedding shopping!

to top it all off, i decided to hold another spree @ www.berryrosy.blogspot.com because apparently i have a big backside, and it's not itchy enough. to which, i have to apologise profusely for not yet invoicing. i promise i'll get down to it asap, as soon as my flu goes away, and i can concentrate well enough to sit down for at least 2 hours to go through everything!

and i apologise to all advertisers because it's not that i do not have the time to do up advertorials, ut that i have so many things on my mind right now, i simply cannot concentrate.

BUT all in all, i'll a very very happy girl because there has been many good news and most importantly, health restored to the family. :)

also, i cannot wait to blog about my getaway to Bali recently, where despite being ill, The Husband and i stayed in a villa right next to the indian ocean, went horse back riding along the beach, had a romantic spa session and dined right next to the beach. bali is truly my paradise!

so, please please bear with me through this long (yet short) gruelling period where i have to do what i am possibly the worst at; multi-tasking. and i'll be back really soon.

i have 4 dogs.

and all 4 of them, i had them with The Husband.

a sheltland (or sheltie, if you will), a schnauzer, a husky and a alsatian cross. :)

as you know, Peaches is back in singapore now. She has been home since sunday, after a 30-day quaranine at the sembawang animal quarantine centre.

i do not know how to emphasize how amazing Peaches is as a conpanion to me. but i can tell you that every single time i get to visit her at the quaranine premises, the people who work there would not hesitate to tell me how good she was behaving and how much she missed me when i wasn't around. even when i asked about things such as licensings etc, they would know i was talking about Peaches.

She is a joy.

Just earlier, i walked her. even though i got home not long ago just before 2 am, and she let out a piece of lunch. while walking, her attention was 100% on me. even though she is not a small house dog, i walk her, unleashed. and as i predicted, she was holding on to the rest of her lunch with her.

i know i'm vv lazy and all, so after she was done with her business (just 5 minutes into the walk), i told her, Peaches, go home.

she looked at me, and without any hesitation, and unleashed, led me back to the lift lobby, sat down at the door and waited for me to scan the cardkey so as to access the lift.

such is the dedication of my baby. The Husband says that she lives and breathes for me. i couldn't agree more.

not just Peaches, but my other 3 babies as well. Every single sound or wince i make, the come rushing in to check on Mummy.

is this how it will be like to be a mum?

you know, i used to tell everyone how i didn't want children and all, but i have realised that it was because i hadn't met a right man.

The Husband makes me want to be a better person. All the time. Whatever i do, wherever i am, i think of him. i think if he might need me to da bao food. i think if he would be angry if i went out too late. i think of him in everything i do.

some self-proclaimed feminists might frown like a prune at my above paragraph... but hey... sucks for you that you have not met somebody like The Husband.

i want to be the mother of his children. i want to give him a family.

and you know what?

LOVE IS EVEN WHEN MISTAKES ARE MADE, YOU CANNOT IMAGINE YOUR LIFE BEING OTHER WISE.

somebody casually asked me if i had thought it through before saying 'i do.'

About my new business

so i've started taking in appointments already, albeit rather slowly.

i've been asking around for advice and whom i shall sponsor or pay to do an ad for me but... lol.... the problem with POPULAR/INFLUENTIAL female bloggers is that

1. those whom are nice enough and i know that their ads have a good impact, are all taken up, and i do not want to create a conflict by 'stealing' them from my competitors (friends).

2. there are also those whom i just do NOT like at all, not one bit. yet they have vv good ad response. sucks for me i guess. but hey, at least my pride is still intact. *cough*

3. then there are those who think that they're so popular and awesome, with much more hits than i do, yet cannot even bring in the same crowd that i can.

so anyway i have raised this issue with many friends who have also come up with very ridiculous suggestions. sometimes, i swear my friends think i'm brainless (Qing's IQ = 30).

1. somebody suggested that i should blog about it myself.

in other news, Peaches is finally coming home this sunday after a month-long quarantine at sembawang! m vv vv excited, and i'm very sure that Bambi and Pinky will do very well with her, and vice versa. Peaches has the sweetest temperment~!

i know i promised to blog again, but i failed.

someone told me that i should rethink my blog's direction.... but you know, its not all monetary to me anymore. i donot want to blog feeling like i need to, like i owe it to others. i want to blog, because... well, because i want to!

anyhow, my classes are soon coming to an end, and i've just went into business. hee. i'm not sure what the future holds for me at the moment, we'll just see how it goes!

i'm really really excited about this new phase in my life, and i m truly very dedicated to it. i mean it's been more than 4 years since i last worked (oi, part time helping friends don't count). and my blog was a..... an outlet where i could somehow 'work', earn some errr ERP money (since thats how little i charge), and yet occupy me! kelvin told me sometime last year that he was amazed at my dedication even though i could do without it. :)

in other news, i have received my ROM pictures... but i'm still not sure if i want to post them cos some of the pics of me are really fugly to the max. i do not blame the photographer. there were nice pics too. aiya, as i always say - 丑就是丑的。美就是美的。what which side face nicer is bull. lol.... also! more exciting news, we just did our bridal photoshoot last week~! with a different photog of course; we booked him waaaaaayyyyy back! i'm really reallly excited to see how the pics turn out. heeeee!!!!!

i know lately it's all about nails now.

but that's how it is for everyone, no?

i dunno whether i've mentioned this before, but since so many people have been asking, i'm taking classes at the PinkRoom; it's where Cynthia was from.

i chose the school partly because of her, but also because the few nailists or maybe the only ones i know of are coincidentally, all from PinkRoom! Shirley, Jenny and Junying (okay i dunno junying, but she's damn pop can? lol).

and i really think, it's an awesome place for me to be at right now. bye bye to the housewife/housegirlfriend syndrome! i'm so occupied now, it keeps both me and kelvin happy. :)

besides, i do enjoy my classes very much. teachers are so helpful and easy to relate to! and even though i am so 38 and have about a thousand and one questions for them in class, they always explain to me (sometimes more than once cos i think i just might be retarded from all the years of nua-ing) patiently until i do get it.

i know that my nail blog is not very impressive yet, since mostly, people do lots of embossed 3D nailart (you know, the roses and cupcakes and whatnots), but all i did was nailart. but that's only because so far i have completed only my nailart 1 (basic salon nailart techniques) and acrylic extension classes. this wednesday begins nailart 2, where i will learn how to do embossed 3D nailart! SO EXCITING OMG.

for those who are impressed with what i can do now, you should be. lol. hell, even i am impressed too. don't get me wrong, i'm impressed not because i'm so proud of my abilities but rather, how i progressed. i mean, before this, i was convinced that perhaps my parents weren't joking about the fact i was picked from a rubbish bin; my siblings are EXCELLENT in painting.

in fact the only time i got an A in art back in sec school days, was one incident where i accidentally knocked over my palette and in my opinion destroyed my piece. i handed it in anyway after futilely trying to clean it with water and tissue. "the strokes are so purposeful!", the deceived teacher said, and gave me 75 marks. and i didn't even touch a brush after sec 2.

and even when it came to painting my own nails? i never did. i think i did like once or twice at most in my entire life before i started class. well, there's a reason why it happened only once or twice.

and now, here i am, just painting powerpuff girls and what nots! and i'm already beginning to create my own designs! i have my teachers to thank for. :) and of course BBFF with her negative reinforcement tactics to make sure that i improve. hahaha

of course i do have a knack for art, but my trade belongs in crafting and creations.... never before did i think i could paint, and on such a small scale!

i signed up an extra course which happened on saturday: Advanced Airbrush Tecniques. it was darn fun. even though i sprayed my solitaire blue. O.o and i have already thought of so many designs and possibilities that i can do! at the moment i am trying not to touch my airbrush gun cos i'm working in the bedroom and well, things might just get ugly, cos you know, i am me. -___-"

however, i am still not ready to start. i know it's weird that i have learned all these advance stuff, but not yet ready; that's because i have only just begun my basic mani and pedi classes (i joined too late, skipped it, and now having the makeup lessons with a later batch of students). i'm now quite confident of my acrylic, be it overlay or sculptured extensions. i'm still trying to practice and practice, of course! but one still needs the basic skills to start doing other stuff yeah? like basic polish painting. no surprises here; i absolutely suck at it, and i haven't had much time yet to practice cos i've been obsessing over acrylic and nail art. A LOT.

okay, it's getting technical and boring, i know! told u i'm obsessed la!

anyway i do have awesome awesome classmates as well and even though they don't behave or look as 38 as i do, but omg, do they make me laugh! 真人不露相！so really, classes are so so enjoyable because of these new friends i've made. :) i do hope that when we complete the course in september, we'll still stay in touch as friends ba! unlike some other student(s) who are so defensive and secretive about their plans/supplier, this group of friends can't wait to share the good stuff and info! lol... i think it's damn awesome. i do not understand why others are so defensive... like wth.... go your shop steal ur supplies? steal ur customers (how sia)?! dun understand. but ok. nvm. don't care. zzzz

you know how you wake up in the morning and your skin looks amazing?

i'd say it's 17 minutes well spent! you can compare the pic to the first pic of me in this post. i know i'm wearing different clothes la.... but wash up already ma! tsk! lol

though i wouldn't give the hydration side of this mask very high points, i'd say it was.... adequate. then again, i think u all can tell how 'white' i've become! lol...

all in all i give this mask a 7/10. the experience was enjoyable (no stingy feeling which some other masks does sometimes). i really did love the mask texture cos somehow i felt that it enhanced the absorption process. does anyone understand what i mean? the bio-cellulose material really does feel like a 2nd piece of skin that's feeding you nutrients!

seriously i do not think that the garmen is the only one to be blamed for our housing prices. *cough*

anyhow i just want to say that for the record, i fucking hate those overzealous, patronizing property agents. hate to the very max. also, for the record, i DO have friends who are agents, but they're okay. they're not the irritating ones i meet quite so often.

the classic example of one i hate is when he/she asks me where do i live etc, and upon hearing that i am waiting for my place at Meadows to be completed, he/she will jump at the chance to say how superior the property they are selling, compared to my 3 bedroom, penhouse unit, freehold bought at approx 900 pex sq ft, pushing me to buy instead a fucking 2 bedroom shitass 99 year situated not very favourably for me going at over 1300 psf. indeed, what an awesome deal. and best part, since its for my own stay, i'll have to wait another 3-4 years all over again, for the project to be completed before i can move in. seriously, i HATE/DETEST/WISH ~~DEATH~~ PIMPLES upon agents like this. completely unprofessional and ANNOYING TO THE MAX. whatever comes out of his/her mouth just makes complete nonsense. i've never heard utter nonsense being conveyed this well before. which part of it make sense? and no, i do not patronize people like this. i will have a counter argument for every single WORD he/she says, only to be met with a fake smile. PUI.

and then there are those fucking DISHONEST ones who will do/say/beg/lie/murder/rape/lick/kiss/suck anything just to make you buy the inferior property. and i literally have to mentally make sure my eyeballs stop rolling at every sentence that come out of their mouths. seriously, takes lots of willpower you know!

seriously, whoever does hard-selling anymore, other than those slimming /facial centres?! and hard selling things that are going at hundreds of thousands to the millions. that's just plain bad salesmanship. i have met many wonderful agents as well; they simply do their job by showing you the place, explain to you in ALL HONESTY, maybe get your number to 'update' u in future, but always sure not to appear pushy; "oh... this is such a hot place... you have to buy now. if not tomorrow you come i cannot gurantee it will still be available."

i think the highlight of my day was the conclusion put forth by the agent:

".... it's such a good price to get now! we're going at 2400 PSF, compared to the launch price back in 07 which was 2800 PSF. it dipped a little to 2100 PSF at one point, but now it's going back up again! very soon it will hit 3000PSF!!!"

seriously.

so anyway went to check my readership earlier (am seriously contemplating refunding all the advertisers who have paid but yet to have seen anything from me *oops*) and wow.... suddenly i have more readers than ever?!

anyhow! i'm still messing around with nails and busy with lessons plus home practice! i reaaaalllllyyyyyyy want to get on with the classes quick and start accepting customers (if anyone dares lol). also, i've engaged my friends to come be my guienea pigs so i can practice more~~~~! i hate practicing on my own nails. for one, i think its quite annoying that every single day, i'm soaking off the extensions off one hand, and that takes quite a while. and then there's the issue with my nail size.

i swear that everytime the teacher in class instructs us to do whatever we learnt on our own nails, i would curse: FUCK FUCK FUC FUCK FUCK.

i guess it's good training cos smaller space requires higher accuracy? then again, i desperately need huge nails to work with so i would know what to do with them, if i ever have a customer like this in the future!

some of my jie meis came over to help me on friday evening to get the ROM decor done, weddings favours packed etc.

yes, i'm married as of yesterday! pictures will only be in my hands in a month or two... so... sorry abt the lack of pics in my upcoming posts la!

there was quite a panic initially cos my fb got hacked, and the hacker added himself as my friend and invited himself AND his friends to my private-turned-public event. and even though i put threats of throwing out unwelcomed vermin, he was spotted anyway.

i guess i should be flattered? but it didn't really bother me. i was just trying to protect my sis n chris la! (also i scared people take tupperware and da bao from my buffet line)

i only saw him at the end of the night while he fled thescene on a cab, and even slid down the seats so that i won't be able to see him. -____-" i did anyway, and i just couldn't figure out why. did he think i was really going to get someone to manhandle him n his lady friend? LOL...... so i found it rather amusing. its nice when someone takes you seriously, sometimes. HAHAHAHAHAHHA

anyway, he didn't disturb us or anything la... so all was cool. and my fb is now back to super private private; fucker basically 'publicised' my page. -____-" then again, it could be another name-dropper-loser who did this. *shrugs*

don't care! i'm now a 有夫之妇！世俗的事跟我无关. as if i become some immortal. LOL

i'm really happy the way everything turned out yesterday, and in future if any of u wanna get hitched of anything, i'd definitely recommend The Jewel Box @ Mount Faber. it was spectacular and they sure are flexible with lotsa stuff. plus their renovation is amazing. such a change from the old Altivo!

again, i want to thank all my friends who came and gave me their blessings, and even those who didn't but passed their 'blessings' to others hand to me anyway. very touched can?! *sob* i have seriously awesome and er generous friends. lol....

everything turned out much more posh than i had expected; i dunno if i mentioned before, i wanted something very casual, and even put it in the invites that dresscode was casual. yeah, not even smart casual. even kelvin was in berms!

it was a gloomy day, and was pouring in the morning, but but it began clearing up soon after we set sail~~~

okok, so we didn't dock there per se.... but we're near lazurus island! lots of parties going on nearby! (we were all leering shamelessly at the bikini girls next door)

and then somewhere there was a joke going on, something about the other yachts were playing cool Top 40s, while we were blasting 60s cheena oldies. you know, like the old old cheena boat that you can charter for wedding dinners? lolololol.... ok not funny. T.T

anyway next thing you know, my brother immediately took off his t shirt and jumped into the waters. O.o no pic of him jumping cos i scared he scold me for posting his ~~jiggling fats~~ pictures.

nephew and niece getting into the waters the gentle way! :) we're all strong swimmers!!!

someone did an amzing stunt! the bouy looks quite near in the pic, but i swear it was at least 2-3 metres away? so zun?

meanwhile, because i'm deathly shy (and also ashamed of my fats), i opted out of getting into the water. do you know how sad it was!!!!EVERYONE went. EVERYONE! Okay la, kel's family didn't went in, but, even a NON-SWIMMER jumped into the 5-6m deep water with a life jacket. ok, and my dad, sis-in-law and da jie remained dry like me. but still! so sad! nevermind! we shall do this again very soon! and i will definitely charter from LuxuryCharter again~~~ rates are incredible, i swear!

so anyway, meanwhile, i was saying, meanwhile, i went to take shelter from the sun in the double cabin~~~ it's really clean and has an en-suite bathroom. :)

and the fun wasn't over just yet! the skipper started pumping up kayaks!!!! and yes, these are provided along with the charter!

they're crazy! along with my other niece and nephew, the 4 of them rowed all the way to shore and started building sandcastles. O.o

i think my brother's family enjoyed the trip to the fullest! lol!

then from the yacht, i managed to scream for olive to come back to the boat. a good 70-80 m away. hey, they don't call me loudhailer for nothing.

inside the yacht itself, there were 2 single cabins. mirror images of each other on each side, again, with en-suite bathroom. shiok. to. the. max.

i lay down and discovered TV! lol... got dvd player somemore mai siao siao... in case ya know... need some noise? *cough* lol.

so i took a short nap and next thing you know....

we reached St John's Island! requested to go there cos i never been there before, thought we'll get off and walk walk a bit la!

this glass house is so insanely pretty, but i couldn't seem to find anywhere to book it for events. i saw it from a friend's yacht one evening. very very romantic can! *gasp* but anyway, wanted it for my ROM venue (trap everyone. wanna go home, have to swim back)....

i know, you can't get more touristy than that. lol.... aiya... morning rain, afternoon hot like ^#%!$^%@!! still, we had an awesome time despite the crappy weather~!

see, i told you it's humongous! Yacht Kingdom is a 53 ft Cataraman, and they're licensed to carry up to 18 onboard!

As i said earlier on, for such luxury, it's amazing how affordable it actually is! look at it this way, if there's 18 of you, and everyone forks out a share of 100 odd you can enjoy a FULL 7 HOURS, WEEKEND out at sea! honestly, give me an extra 100 odd to spend, i'd very much rather spend it well with friends and family onboard a EXCLUSIVELY chartered boat than to splurge on shopping?

maybe me do this for hen party eh eh eh! such a wonderful idea. can sing, can swim, can bitch, still can push people down the sea. wah shiok dao~!

oops, i digressed! but you can check their rates here. go take a look! i still cannot believe the rates actually. the yacht is so well maintained, clean and super duper new, not to mention its enormous space... dunno why other charters are at 2-3 times more expensive for something else that can't even compare to this lo. -___-"

needless to say, the lack of sleep and chain smoking and irregular hours have caused me a great deal; my skin. :( and no, there's no make up or anything on my face in the above pic. it is just DRY.

and *gasp* CROWSFEET! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!! SMILE LINES?! WTF!

then again, already getting married, got people want already... so i slacked. *cough*

back to the main topic; yes, it is indeed time i wandered into the world of lifting and firming!

i would defintely recommend this to any OL or in fact, anyone who has to work in a airconditioned (dry) workplace for long hours!

i'm not too crazy about the texture of this firming lotion compared to the original hada labo one, but i'm still madly in love with the SHA content!

repeat after me girls, the secret to beautiful skin lies with : HYDRATION.

all in all, i give the Hada Labo Retinol Lotion an 8 for its function; easily achieved and works well with my sensitive skin.

and with the amount i'm spending other beauty products (for experimental purposes), am giving the toner a 9 for its affordability; only $25.90, and probably last u about 2-3 months. (i'm using the amount relative in size to a 10 cent coin only)

downside is that i don't feel the 'sticky' feeling i had with the hydration hada labo series, which i am totally crazy about - somehow it just gives me a very clean feel.

there's no fragrances though, which i suppose is a good thing because you don't want unneccessary stuff in your beauty products that might burden your skin eh!

A day in town~

i know i have'nt been blogging much about myself lately, but that's also because i dun exactly have a life these days. lol...

long gone are the clubbing and drinking days. i still do, and i still like a party now and then, but just to give you an example, i had earlier asked my sis n bro-in-law out for drinks, only to cancel on them cos i was already feeling drowsy by 9pm. zzzzz

anyhow! been going to town and doing some shopping for my upcoming ROM (wanna DIY lotsa decor which i am now beggining to think is a huge mistake cos of the misfits)~~~

basically a day in town for me comprises of:

1. taming my unruly fringe!

takes less than 3 minutes for me to do this, which i thought i'd try. it's not french braiding. just twisting... sometimes, i think i am so clever. lol.

looks great and is so simple! when kel is back with the cam, i'll do a picture tutorial for you! :)

2. shopping for DIY stuff....

i blew 50 odd on stickers alone. a round of applause please. and no, these stickers will nt be for my use, but rather, i'd leave them for guests to do some DIY themselves for the guest registry. :) sometimes, i think i am so clever.

3. walk into random shop and buy random cheap stuff

so pretty~~~ saw it at precious moments cos i was looking if they have any relevant wedding stuff for me to buy, and chanced upon this. 14.90 only. friends who are reading this, you will all be getting this for your upcoming or belated birthdays. sometimes, i think i am so clever.

5. come home and spread out everything and take some pictures, only to be distracted by pure cuteness.

all she wants is my attention! and no, i didn't asked her to 'stay' or 'come here!!!' she just sat there watching me as i took pictures. WHY IS BAMBI SO CUTE! WHY WHY WHY! i think i am very clever for giving a pass on the previous schnauzers i've seen and settling on her.

6. after picture taking n playing with dogs etc, decide to clear the receipts that i've thrown in my bag only to realise that i have forgotten about yet another buy.

so i wouldn't call this an advertorial la! but, a month ago, i was invited to Dreamy Paws along with my pooches for spa treatment wor! (they spa, i panic)

they came to pick them up, so basically i missed out Bambi and Pinky's grooming (a open concept where u can see what they do! pictures below), but they waited for me cos i wanted to see Husky in the jacuzzi!!!

yes... you read me right.... JACUZZI for dogs!

sometimes, i think our pets lead better lives. lol

according to Gladys, the owner of Dreamy Paws, Husky was already jumping in and out of the tub before i arrived. Empty tub. O.o that rascal!

hahaha she thinks there's food, so she sat down and waited. -___-"

she is the only one out of all 4 of our doggybabies that actually loves water (i.e. go into the shower with me) but i think in this case, she thought she was immersed in food. lol.... keep drinking the water! HAHAHAHAHAH!

so anyways i went back out to wait cos she was really being a complete clown, and i think i made it worse by just being there; somehow she thinks she rules over me, so she doesn't behave. :(

ANYWAY! while she's busy enjoying the spa treatment given to her by the super hot mama (lol), i went outside to wait! :)

but, Pinky has become fluffier after the spa! very nice leh!

Pinky is a shetland, but always misunderstood cos of her size and colour! when we first got her, she had an injured leg (jumping on 3 limps) and very little fur... so it's really very gratifying (in a way) to see her grow and have such beautiful fur! then with the spa, really looks much better! :)

also, Bambi finally got her Schnauzer trim again, despite already having short fur.

and i've really gotta say that this is one of the prettiest schnauzer cuts i've seen done! kel n his family thought it was extremely cute n nicely done too! :)

Evil came in the mail today! :(

its been quite a few years that i haven't been in sg for GSS, and i totally forgotten about the hoo haa, the sweat, the tears and the anxiety attacks...

but now.... omg.... why is everywhere having sale? wtf?! NEED to buy! how!!!!

money pls drop from the sky!!!!

speaking of which, money never drops from the sky for me (~~only from kelvin's pockets~~).

i'm referring to lottery, 4D and toto etc.... unlike my mum who wins also every week 'oh 我又中马票了。' like its a very normal thing, i have never ever won on any bets before.

in fact, i am so reliable to always lose my bets that friends would bet small against me during world cups, and then bet big with ~~the bookies~~ Singapore Pools. -____-"

i tried to bet along with my mum since she's so lucky, but in the end, i only made her suay. lol... anyway i only do small bets. as if $50 will make a difference to my insane spending on the wedding.

DIY Wedding Invites~~

i know this is not much.... but you know how i enjoy crafting and doing handmade stuff; i.e. customization and personalization!

every single one is different, where i stuck the doily paper.... i know its very simple, but that's the idea, and besides, with just 1 month looming ahead of me, i can't do more either!

the inside however, is realllllyyyyy simple. in fact, all i did was to print out the slip (also DIY-ed via microsoft word lol) and paper clipped it to the card.

also DIYed the envelopes with some stickers... again, all different!

took me all in all 3 days to finish 30 invites. -_-" but i'd reckon that's all i need for the ROM. come wedding day, am engaging the professionals to do it! lol... annot imagine doing a more complicate + sophisticated design x 200. O.o

there's more, but since the ROM is so soon, i think i'll just let the photographer capture it all and then post ba~!

now... should i get a floral package for the ROM? tempted much! even though mount faber is already providing those... but i'm so paranoid that for the amount/bargain that i'm paying, it might not turn out the way i envision.

in other news, i blew a good 440 (that's the 50% deposit) on bridesmaid dresses for my 8 jie-meis-to-be, and another 400 on ASOS sales earlier on. then there's the photographer who's also charging 400 for the 2 hour session at our ROM party. not to forget me ordering some 60 cupcakes and 20 cake lollies from www.cottoncandybakeshop.blogspot.com .

pay and pay and pay and pay! sucks balls! and gosh, these are the 'small' amounts already. i dont even have a bridal package; everything is alacarte style, which means more $$$$.

but what to do! once in a lifetime, must do swee swee right? *sigh*

Busy Bride-to-Be

so having a itchy backside had caused me double busy-ness.

thinking that my wedding would be too small to accomdate my friends from all corners of singapore namely Mee Toh (primary school), SAC, Zhonghua (seconary schools), TPJC, MDIS (dip and my er... half-degree course lol) etc etc, i have decided to hold a separate ROM ceremony so i can have everybody come; especially those whom invited me to their wedding, but whom i will have no space for during the dinner....

so anyway after looking all over the place, high and low, literally, we have found Moonstone @ Mount faber!

we went there, thinking altivo might still be around. lol..... little do we know, it's been so well renovated liao!

so we booked the place (none-exclusively)! honestly, i had thought it would be much more expensive, but i'm vv vv pleased with their service and how they worked with my budget!

and since they could work within the budget, i decided, again, with my itchy backside and not my brain, that i would DIY decorations etc. i have thus far finished DIY-ing 30 invitations. yes, 30 only. lol.... and managed to spray paint a paper marche horse in fucshia (after failing several times to get it neon pink). everything else is still sitting back in their Artfriend/Spotlight/Daiso plastic bags. -____-"

and on wednesday, when we went to pay the deposit for the venue, i was told that even with that meagre buget i gave them, they would be doing table set ups; i.e. white clothes, candles, cutlery setting.

i'm like.... WHAT!!!!! i don't believe it. lol... granted the original quote was almost twice what my budget is... i would think that bargaining = taking away all the perks... no??!!?!? somemore it's a saturday night... and they're giving me so many things!

and there and then i decided.... okay, i now have to buy a dress! fuck!

yes, i had formely decided to wear a 30 dollar H&M dress despite all the protests from my friends.... i had thought it'd be something more.... casual.... but since the venue is going to be so nice, means i have to dress up right?!?!!?! SHIT ME!

still, i'm very much for the idea of my 30 dollar H&M dress and kel in berms. why cannot? i like casual casual.... more like a party you know? and even if i give up the H&M dress idea, i sure as hell will not get a gown. mayb a short white dress... from Miu Miu ok, baby? LOL....

how! i totally cannot envision myself in formal attire leh! pffffftttt! even so.... with the venue, i think kelvin would look better in berms.... am i a crazy bride or what? -_____-"

i'm totally blown away by Ted Wu's brilliance. it's so so so so so gorgeous, and it's totally ME.... the dress is just a basic do up, there's still loads to add (lace, embriodery etc).... but the overall look is definitely what i was looking for. :) and also, i think he made me quite happy by pointing out that i have some foresight into the bridal fashion world, what with the lace and sleeves and all (before all these people got married, i already got the design of my dress le hor!). haha...

i can't wait for the finished gown in august!!!! i think it will be the first and only gown i'd ever love. :)

oh oh, speaking of bridal stuff, does anyone know where i can find the above white birdcage? best if i can rent! (buy already do what in future? keep bird?) i wanna put the ring pillow inside... and since our ROM is just NEXT MONTH, it's quite urgent... so if you know..... pls email me at wqfann@gmail.com k? thx much!
